In Locus

It’s almost like this happened before. Back home, I’ve taken the skytrain downtown and gotten lost on Granville street (story for another time, it just happened okay) under the relatively sweltering summer sun’s shine. Today I took the MTR, which is a hell of a lot nicer than the skytrain, towards Tsim Sha Tsui.


Let’s pause right there. The MTR is phenomenal. Thank you Doug for the Octopus card, because all it takes to jump on this thing is one hovering swipe of the wallet that’s holding the card itself. Then I’m flying through the underground in efficient, and airconditioned comfort. Also, I would find out later that the area I got lost around was entirely navigable underground via the pedestrian friendly connection between TST and TST East station. Back to the story.
